Daily Scripture 2016.07.02

Psalm 119:45 " I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts. "

The Hebrew word for "freedom" also means "wide, broad, large, spacious". This in reference to unlimitations... no checks, restraints, a man can do what he pleases. He would not be restrained by evil passions and corrupt desires.

And the last half of the scripture: I seek or endeavor to obey them. I seek them as the guide of my life. I ask nothing else to direct me.

Life as a disciple is not an easy life, but the scriptures say otherwise. How often do we revel in the fact that our walk with God is wide, open and free because we truly seek to obey His Laws?
We can def sit here and claim our struggles as "the part of Christian life we've accepted", or we can consider the freedom our faith has brought us because we have decided to follow God. Because even on our worst day, we would never regret our decision to be His disciples. God will bless our efforts.
