One of the biggest traits that I love about God is, He is the God of new beginnings... 2nd chances... unbegrudgingly. Where are our own worst enemies, God lovingly waits for us w\a big heart and open arms. When we become disappointed with our latest mistakes, and browbeat ourselves to death, God's the exact opposite. The life of a Christian is a repeating series of new beginnings! We frequently forget, not only does God forgive our sins, but He also uses our failures to make us wiser.

The biggest problem we have with starting fresh, is our own personal pride - we are resistant to starting again. But there are many examples of people we can learn from. David is a great example - He showed a heart of humility by praying for forgiveness. He asked the Lord to forgive the sins of his youth, rejoiced that God teaches sinners, and guides & instructs the humble. And, of course, He teaches His ways to those who fear him.

There will be plenty of times where we will feel like a failure - And even more times when we need a new start. Remember that God is the Lord of humility, and He will show you that He is the God of new beginnings.
