#ListenWhenGodLaughs

We are made in God's image... And left to interpretation, I've always felt that we make God laugh often! Nothing evil or detrimental... but similar to when we laugh at each other when we're amongst friends. Think about it - When we laugh, we're expressing ourselves to one another, we're comfortable enough to share this emotion, which is also an expression, and there are times when it alleviates tension. Laughter is social. Even when we laugh alone, we feel compelled to share it with others - "lol".

According to Psychology Today’s summary, laughter is "one of the distinguishing features of human beings" and may be "the most contagious of all emotional experiences" — yet "little is known about the mechanisms behind it."

But there is a time when GOd laughs that we need to look out for:

1Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?
2The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
3"Let us break their chains and throw off their shackles."

Psalm 2:1-3

When man thinks that they are "in control"... when they people seek control over others against God's Plan or His people... when man plots against God... God laughs! He isn't confused, depressed or bothered in any way - He laughs, and that should give us endurance and strengthen our faith.

He sits in the heavens.
He is the Great King on a glorious throne.
He's not pacing back & forth in His throne room, wondering what to do next.
He doesn't even rise up from where He sits - He is in perfect peace... and laughs.

He laughs because his throne is in the heavens - there is no "term" or an expiration to his rule. What is there for God to fear? He knows how this ends!!!!!

I feel the need to say... God doesn't laugh at the suffering of humankind, even when we bring it upon ourselves. But He does laugh at the prideful who thinks so highly of themselves... Ones who fight against God, ans look to prevent His Will.

Look at the scorecard so far... How many have tried to oppose God? And yet, God's still the King!
