Loving, Savior, Shepherd...
What about Divisive? Interrupter? Instigator?

Now, Jesus is our Lord, and perfect, so He would never be labeled as anything negative, but what is He saying in this verse? He is saying that the kingdom of God is coming into the world and will be seen as a disruptive & divisive, instead of as peaceful & harmonious. Think about it - You work hard for your money &\or power (or whatever you hold dear), and Jesus comes in & says, "No. Those things don't matter." I'm sure that wouldn't go over well.
One could interpret that Jesus is telling us that it won't be easy to unseat the current power (they won't want to give up that power), but it's inevitable. And God's kingdom is always at work, breaking up this world. But where one may see "division", other may see "beauty" - God's work is renewing, restoring & redeeming.
